To empower poor and vulnerable communities, especially women and children, by enhancing their capacities, strengthening community institutions, mobilizing capital, and promoting effective utilization of local resources through need-based and sustainable development interventions. UPAMA is committed to fostering self-reliance, self-governance, and self-initiative among its target groups, supported by skilled, trained, and experienced professionals to ensure quality implementation and lasting impact

UPAMA promotes a culture of collaboration, where staff members support one another in achieving collective organizational goals and enhancing overall performance.

The organization maintains strong internal accountability to its Executive Committee and Board of Directors, ensuring that all major policies and decisions are properly communicated and approved. Externally, UPAMA remains accountable to the Government, donors (local and international), and other stakeholders.

UPAMA practices transparency in all activities and financial management, ensuring openness to its governing bodies, relevant authorities, and development partners.

As a development organization, UPAMA integrates gender sensitivity across its programs, policies, and administrative practices to promote equality and inclusion
